Katie Maloney recently had a Q and A with fans on her Instagram. She covered several personal aspects of her life. Of all the things she discussed fans wanted to know her favorite thing about Tom and how she lost twenty pounds.

One fan asked if she felt misrepresented as a mean girl on Vanderpump Rules. She stated she is not worried about potential backlash. At the end of the day she said, “the only opinions that matter to me are the opinions of people that really know me and Tom.”

Katie Maloney got asked what her initial impression of Stassi Schroeder was. Katie Maloney said to begin with she didn’t try to make friends with Stassi Schroeder. She said she, “found out that Stassi dated Peter Madrigal that’s when I had a crush on him. So we didn’t become friends for a little while after that.” Now of course, they’re great friends.

He’s always made me laugh and he’s actually very intelligent.” They asked her how she lost weight. One fan said, “have you lost weight? You look amazing! If so any tricks or tips?” Katie Maloney said she had been trying to cut things out like sugar, alcohol, and fatty foods.

She said then she thought she had a thyroid issue and went to the doctor. The doctor found she had really high glucose levels. She worked with a nutritionist to figure out what she should and should not be eating. She said the nutritionist gave her information on how to, “understand how to eat for my metabolism, especially with being insulin resistant or insulin-sensitive.”

Maloney Has Dealt With Body-Shamers In The Past

Katie Maloney has talked in the past about body-shamers making her feel unlovable according to People. She said in March, ““Imagine finally finding the courage and strength to finally love yourself enough to stand up for yourself to then be ridiculed and torn down again. It took me three years. I was a very unhappy person. I took it out on everyone including myself and I was unlovable.”

She said she’d been passive while people attacked her body. They said she gained weight and continued to make comments over the past three years. Katie stated she is done letting herself feel bad. On Instagram she posted, “I am going to continue to grow and remind myself of my own strength.” Now that she’s feeling better about her body, Katie can make choices for herself to be healthy.
