’90 Day Fiance’: Ashley Martson, Jay Smith Reverse Decision On Kids In 2025
90 Day Fiance fans heard that during COVID-19, Ashley Martson and Jay Smith quarantined together. Later, it emerged they kissed and made up, and look to a long term future together. The couple even went so far as to suggest they want a family of their own with plans for about 2025. But now, it looks like they reversed that decision.

Fans really slammed Ashley when the news came out that she and Jay quarantined together. But, she ignored the haters and the two alums stayed together. Finally deciding to rip up their divorce papers, they went onto YouTube together and shared their current status. TV Shows Ace reported that Jay saw the light about his multiple cheating scandals. He said, “It makes no sense running around when you can build an empire.”
Planning a long term future, for the first time in ages, they spoke about letting go of the past. Recall that Ashley made much ado about Jay and his cheating via Tinder. Since then, many more women were rumored to be in his life. Even pregnancy stories arose. Meanwhile, Ashley flirted and kept hinting at a new love in her life. Fans grew irritated with both of them. Some of them believed the 90 Day Fiance couple never actually split at all. But, whatever happened, they openly declared they intend staying together this time. They even planned for kids.

Ashley and Jay planned for kids in 2025
In their inaugural video on March 26, Jay and Ashley spoke about kids. Jay seemed rather keen on it. They talked about how they both want kids but plan for them. Well, that sounded all very mature. And, the fact that Ashley already had a hysterectomy isn’t much of a problem. She revealed she put her eggs into storage. 2025 seemed the date they planned for it. While Jay initially joked about 2025, Ashley felt that it might be a great time to work towards that dream.
But, it looks like the 90 Day Fiance couple, famous for flip-flopping, reversed that decision. InTouch Weekly reported that they now don’t prioritize kids at all. In fact, they may never have any. In an Instagram Q&A, Ashey said that she’s getting a bit “old” for kids now. Actually, her children now grow into young adults. And let’s face it, bringing infants into the world right now might not be a wise decision. It seems that Jay prefers traveling and expanding his world to being a daddy.
No kids – maybe not ever
Ashley noted, “It’s not really something either of us want right now and maybe not ever.” Well, that sounds rather emphatic. They prefer focusing on their relationship and their careers.
