‘RHOBH’ Newbie Garcelle Beauvais Dishes On Which Co-Stars She Didn’t ‘Connect’ With, Plus Reveals What Denise Richards Warned Her About
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans will get to know two new faces when Season 10 premieres this week. Actress Garcelle Beauvais and socialite Sutton Stracke join the cast in Lisa Vanderpump’s absence.
There are a lot of rumors swirling online about the drama between RHOBH’s Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville. That will happen later in the season, according to Erika Jayne. How did Garcelle handle the drama and her new co-stars?
RHOBH Newcomer Didn’t ‘Connect’ With Two Co-stars
It can be hard coming into a show like RHOBH with a cast that has been together for years. Garcelle found this out personally during filming for Season 10. She recently opened up to Us Weekly about her struggle to connect with RHOBH, the last remaining original star.
While Garcelle thinks Kyle is “hilarious,” she was “hard to get to know.” The Jamie Foxx actress felt Kyle had her guard up. As a result, they didn’t “connect” as much as with the other women.
Garcelle also reveals that Sutton was offended when they didn’t become immediate BFFs. She says,
“I didn’t connect with Sutton right away. And I think she took offense to…I said to her, ‘We don’t all have to be friends, you know, best friends.’ And my thing was that in real life, you’re not best friends with everybody, you know?”
Sutton isn’t a full-fledged cast member. Rather, she is in a part-time role, which she’s not particularly happy about.
She replied to her RHOBH co-star’s post of the cast photo that didn’t include her. She wrote, “Suggested caption: What did these girls do with SUTTON?”

One RHOBH star Garcelle did get along with is Erika Jayne. She said that like her, Erika keeps it real. “We say how we feel, we keep it moving.”
Garcelle Has Known Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards for ‘Years’
The RHOBH newbie didn’t join the cast without any friends. She tells Us Weekly that she goes way back with fellow actresses Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards. 20 years back, to be exact.
In fact, her long-running friendship with the Wild Things actress put her solidly on #TeamDenise during the drama with Brandi.
Garcelle opens up about what Denise said to her about joining the show. Denise warned her to “hold onto your seat.”
Would Garcelle Return to RHOBH For Season 11?
With one season under her belt, Garcelle looks ahead to the future. When asked if she would come back for Season 11, the actress said she “believes” that she would be open for another season. Fans will have to tune in to RHOBH see if Denise feels the same way.
