Michelle Money’s Daughter Is Moving And Extubated
On Thursday and Friday, former Bachelor star Michelle Money gave a couple of updates on her daughter Brielle. The 15-year-old was in a skateboarding accident nearly two weeks ago. Since then, she’s been on all kinds of medications. She’s been in a coma. Now, things seem to be looking up. Just a couple days ago, Brielle was trying to move.
On Thursday, Michelle posted a video of her daughter moving her hand. This is a big step in the right direction. Michelle writes, “Brielle is doing so well. She is off almost all of her IV medications. She is still on the Dilaudid but they are trying to get her off of that today. They will switch to giving her morphine through a feeding tube. The nurse said that it is a 20 day weaning process on morphine to get her off of the pain, sedation and paralytic medicines.” On Friday, Michelle shared that Brielle made even more progress and is off some of the medications too.
Then, she talks about Brielle’s movement. Brielle is moving her eyebrows if people yell or if the nurses pinch her. Michelle Money continues, “The medical staff is asking her to squeeze their fingers or move her toes and she will do it most of the time. Her left side is definitely more responsive than her right side.”

Brielle is extubated and off the ventilator
On Friday, Brielle had a big day as far as progress goes. In an Instagram story, Michelle revealed that Brielle was extubated. So, the breathing tube in her throat has been removed. Her neck brace was removed too. And, she no longer requires a ventilator. In Michelle’s stories, she adds that Brielle is coming off many of her medications. The mom says that they are weaning Brielle. She’s on a lot of morphine. In her Instagram stories, she also calls Brielle a fighter and says that she’s so proud of her daughter.
Michelle knows that this is going to be a long process. But, she’s happy to see Brielle recovering and continuing to make process. Michelle’s fans are also glad that things are improving.
Michelle Money gets support from social media followers
Throughout this scary process, Michelle is getting a lot of support from her social media followers. They are offering to help in any way possible. As Michelle updates them, she often requests that they pray for their family during this time. Michelle claims that the prayers are what’s making an impact on Brielle’s recovery. No matter what, her followers are there for her. They often comment on her posts and provide encouragement. Michelle appreciates all the love during this time.
