Sister Wives family social distancing

Sister Wives fans heard from both Christine and Janelle Brown, a little bit about how their life gets affected by the coronavirus social-distancing. Christine’s enjoying her three daughters, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely at home. Meanwhile, Janelle spends more time chatting with her teenage daughter, Savanah. But what about Kody, Meri, and Robyn? Read on to find out how they cope with it.

Sister Wives – Kody’s wives talk about social distancing

TV Shows Ace already dug around for some hints of the coronavirus life-style in the mega-large Brown family. Christine shared how much she loves it that three of her daughters stay home right now. Plus, she shares some fun stuff about homeschooling Truely. One particularly funny clip she shared showed her perplexed by the moronic questions in math class.  Then, Janelle shared about how she and her daughter Savannah spend more time together. They enjoy their daily walk together and this means they talk more than usual. Mind you, they take care to keep their distance and stay away from any crowded and built-up areas.

Fans never really heard about how the Sister Wives’ family copes with social distancing as a unit. However, US Weekly ran an exclusive and revealed what they said. Robyn, who keeps fairly quiet outside of commenting on the TLC show, spoke up. Fans already know that Robyn’s a bit of a worrier, and she mentioned that side of it. But, she’s taking some comfort as they “make phone calls and find other ways to stay in touch as much as possible.” Robyn mentioned “care packages,” and “video chat.” So, if you thought they all floated around between the homes, she just confirmed that they don’t.

Meri speaks about staying at home

Meri, as fans already know from the show, lives in a house by herself. That’s because she runs her LuLaRoe business from home. It’s not clear if anyone else like Mariah currently stays with her. She told the media outlet that it’s pretty much a lifestyle for her, being alone much of the time, so she’s used to it. She noted, “it’s a little weird that we can’t get together but we know it’s best to stay in our own individual homes.” And then, Janelle spoke up about her viewpoint.

Kody Brown and Janelle get along well, and on Sister Wives, they sometimes describe their relationship as good friends. Fans know from the current season that she hoped Kody would build a  huge dream home where they could live under one roof. Referring to that, she thinks one home better. Janelle noted she misses the “camaraderie” of the family gatherings. Living apart sounds a bit of a lonely time for her.

Christine Brown and her take on the Sister Wives‘ lifestyle

Christine said that they spend time learning crafts and she even made her own “moisturizer.” Their efforts help keep them away from the stores. And, fans know she posts about her activities on Instagram often. She seems well-able to cope with the social-distancing lifestyle and her sense of humor helps keep her balanced.

Kody indicated that he doesn’t visit each wife. Fans wonder where the Sister Wives’ patriarch lives right now, and some think he might stay with Christine or Robyn.  He noted, “We’ve severed family gatherings completely. I’ve been contacting family by phone.” But Kody finds little else to talk about other than the kids,  their homeschooling, and the coronavirus. Life’s a bit dull, he feels.
