Duggar Family Visits Israel Dillard On His Birthday
As TV Shows Ace reports, Israel Dillard celebrated his fifth birthday on Monday. Due to the coronavirus and social-distancing guidelines, things looked a little different this year. For example, Jill Duggar shared that Israel received gifts for several days because relatives had to mail them. They also weren’t able to leave the house to meet up with friends or family.
Jill wrote, “We did a special birthday breakfast and are planning a drive this afternoon to say hey to friends from our car before we make our way to Derick’s mom and stepdad’s for a simple celebration in their front yard (keeping our distance)!”
In a social media post, Jill says that Israel is being a good sport about the whole thing. She adds that they’re making lemonade out of lemons. Even though he may not have had the birthday the family planned, he still seemed to enjoy himself. Jill shared a few pictures of his special day too.

Duggar family stops by on Israel’s birthday
Due to social-distancing guidelines, the Duggar family couldn’t actually get together on Israel’s birthday. But, some of Jill’s family was able to drop by. In a picture Jill shared, her mom Michelle and two of her sisters are on the Dillards’ front porch. They have the window cracked so they can talk to each other through the screen. Israel and his two-year-old brother Samuel are hanging out by the window by their grandma and aunts.
It looks like Michelle brought some gifts for Israel too. In one picture, Israel is sitting beside a wooden box. Inside are all kinds of snacks and treats. The five-year-old received whipped cream, animal crackers, and more.
Duggar fans are loving this new post and they’re happy that Israel was still able to see his family. One wrote, “Awwww!! I love that your mom & sisters still came to see him for his special day ❤️🎂!” Someone else said, “How sweet! I see Michelle and Josie!! 💕”
From the pictures and what Jill shared, it seems like Israel had a great birthday. On her Instagram stories, Jill shared that they went on a birthday parade to say hi to their friends from the car. Some of their friends even gave Israel gifts through the window. And, one friend “egged” the Dillards’ yard. Jill notes that Israel and Samuel got to go on an egg hunt with their flashlights in the yard.
