‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber Admits DMing Hannah Brown While Engaged To Hannah Ann
Wow! Bachelor Peter Weber is spilling the beans this week on a bunch of speculation that has been circling for awhile. Leave it to Nick Viall to be able to get the goods from Peter. He asked him all the tough questions during Peter’s recent interview on The Viall Files podcast. And, as it turns out Peter says he was in contact with Bachelorette Hannah Brown. This all happened while he was engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss.
Peter was DMing Hannah Brown
Nick brought up the accusations Hannah Ann had made about Hannah B. He asked Peter if it was legit he communicated with Hannah B. while still engaged to Hannah Ann. Cosmopolitan shared what Peter had to say for himself. But, first let’s recap what got everyone talking about Peter and Hannah B. in the first place.
On After the Final Rose, Hannah Ann said,
“Peter, we’ve been through a lot together, and I should have really picked up on the first red flag that you gave to me was when you wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown to find closure with her. So really, looking back on it, our engagement involved three women: Me, you still being in love with Madison and proposing to me and you needing closure with Hannah Brown. That’s three women involved in our engagement that I was completely blindsided to.”
At that point Peter didn’t say anything. Now, he’s ready to share his side of the story.

His side of the story involving Hannah B.
Peter told Nick all the details involving that accusation. He said, “We get the episodes earlier to watch before the season premiere. Hannah Brown had been given the episode as well. One day I saw that she DM’d me on Instagram (I didn’t have her number at that point). She was being really honest and open and wondering if I had seen the episodes yet. She was kinda struggling with it, it was tough to watch.”
The story gets even juicier as Peter continues saying, “I saw this message and [Hannah Ann and I] were on a ‘Happy Couple’ weekend, and we were watching the episodes together, and I told her that Hannah Brown had reached out, that it could be good for both of us to get some closure. To be completely honest, the way that whole conversation ended [with Hannah Brown on ‘The Bachelor’] wasn’t very definite. I was so confused in that moment… Those were real feelings being brought up. So Hannah Brown reached out to see how I was doing.”
Hannah Ann was not thrilled but told Peter he could talk to Hannah B.
Peter went on telling Nick, “I had asked Hannah Ann if it would be okay if I could communicate with Hannah Brown. She told me that it was fine as long as I didn’t see her in person… she was, obviously, a little hesitant… and that’s why I wanted to be transparent about her with everything. Ultimately, she gave me the okay and Hannah Brown and I discussed things.”
While nothing came of those conversations, there are many that feel Peter was out of line DMing his ex. Today, Peter said he and Hannah Brown have a mutual respect for one another. Throughout the entire season there were many fans who hoped Peter and Hannah B. would end up together. That doesn’t look like it will ever happen now. Peter and Hannah B. both seem to have moved on from their past.
Peter is currently rumored to be dating Kelley Flanagan. He just spoke out and said they are taking things slow. Hannah B. has strong ties to Tyler Cameron. They also claim to not be dating and just be good friends. Hopefully all of these Bachelor alums can find their happily ever after soon.
