While Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar may be pregnant for the third time, the attention is all on her husband Austin Forsyth. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Austin made a statement toward the end of a recent interview about “unresolved conflicts” with family.

And of course, his statement ignited a wildfire of interest amongst Duggar fans. So what is Austin talking about?! Is there drama on planet Duggar?

Joy-Anna and Austin are close with the Duggars

Joy-Anna and Austin have kept a good relationship with Jim Bob and Michelle. As a result, Joy-Anna and Austin have kept their spot on the invite list to the Duggars well-known weekly family nights. Joy-Anna even announced her recent and third pregnancy during a Duggar family gathering.

Joy-Anna may be close with the Duggars — but it’s clear that’s not the case for all of her siblings. There’s been talk of a rift between Jill Duggar and her parents for quite awhile. And Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, has come forward with some shocking truth bombs about the family.

According to Derick, Jill needs permission to even come over to Michelle and Jim-Bob’s house from Jim-Bob himself. Additionally, he has made claims that Jim-Bob is keeping all of the family’s money from Counting On, and none of the money goes to any of the kids.

So if Joy-Anna and Austin are still close to Michelle and Jim-Bob does this mean they know all the Duggar dirt? Derick’s comments and the couple’s closeness to Joy-Anna’s parents is exactly why fans are so interested in Austins’ “unresolved conflicts” comment.

Austin’s ‘unresolved conflicts’ comment

Joy-Anna and her husband have a pretty big and consistent presence on their social media. Recently the Counting On couple paired up with the Freedomists to do a special YouTube Q&A.

The entire interview appeared to be pretty light-hearted, but Austin’s final comment turned heads. Austin mentioned family and “unresolved conflicts” at the end. He mentioned this while they were discussing how they are getting through the coronavirus crisis.

Austin said, “Try to make the best of the situation. Learn to get along with your families. Maybe there’s some unresolved conflict that’s been going on. Sit down and talk about it, and try to works things out. I think during hard times, we can all learn from it, and we can all better ourselves.”

The comment stuck out because of its difference in tone from the rest of the interview.

Ultimately the question fans are debating is whether Austin was making a generalized statement or talking from experience.

As for now, we will just have to wait and see! Be sure to check back in with TV Shows Ace for the latest Counting On news.
