Andy Cohen Praises Governor Cuomo For Changes To Surrogacy Laws In New York
Andy Cohen’s son Benjamin was born by surrogacy as Bravo fans know. The gorgeous little boy’s quickly getting his own fan base. Now, with changes to the New York surrogacy laws, Andy praised Governer Cuomo. Andy previously helped out so that this could happen in New York.
Andy Cohen’s over the moon and praises Governor Cuomo for new laws on surrogacy ban
On his Instagram on Thursday, Andy shared a photo of himself and Cuomo and wrote a happy caption. His messaged read, “THANK YOU GOVERNOR CUOMO!” He pointed out that Cuomo “brilliantly led NY through this pandemic.” Then he noted that thanks to him, the ban on surrogacy in New York will be REVERSED!” Andy loves that the “passage of the Child-Parent Security Act means thousands” of people now get the chance to raise a family. Andy mentioned those “who struggle with infertility, cancer survivors, and LGBTQ.”
Finally, Andy Cohen said that he felt proud that he helped work “on this initiative with the Governor.” For the Bravo host, he finds this to be excellent news “in the midst of so much sadness.” He mentioned how happy he felt that he had “lent his voice to this campaign.”
Well, many fans responded to his message. One person said, “So proud of you for fighting for this!! Bravo Andy.” Then, another person commented, “This is the best news I’ve heard in all of 2020! 🙌🙌🙌.” Others mentioned how extremely happy they feel because Andy shared the good news about the surrogacy ban and he also got over the coronavirus.

Andy recovered from the coronavirus this week and was reunited with his son
People who follow Andy know he announced that he came down with the virus in March. He stopped streaming his Watch What Happens Live show. Currently streaming from his home, he took a break. But then he announced he got over it and aired a new episode on Tuesday. Plus, thrilled fans became very emotional when he reunited with son Benjamin. TV Shows Ace reported that Andy said that he holds multiple reunions every year. But the one with his son after his quarantine was the best ever.
