‘VPR’ Star Jax Taylor Says Coronavirus ‘Punishment From the Man Upstairs’
Several Bravolebrities, including VPR’s Scheana Shay and RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson, have come under fire for ignorant comments about the coronavirus outbreak. Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor’s social media feed this weekend gives them all a run for their money.
The VPR Star Thinks Coronavirus is Some Kind of “Punishment” from God.
It may surprise fans to know that Jax is religious. He did, after all, cheat on both Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright. Not to mention sleeping with his best friend’s then-girlfriend.
It turns out that Jax not only believes in God, he believes in a vengeful God.
Jax stepped in it on social media on Sunday, March 29. According to Us Weekly, Jax first posted his thoughts to Instagram with the comments turned off. Then he deleted it and put it on his Instagram Stories instead. He also posted on Twitter and fans are still reacting to his thoughts behind the purpose of coronavirus.
The VPR star wrote a lengthy post about the coronavirus pandemic. He begins the post by saying he’s sorry so many people are out of work and suffering. (“I’m sorry, but…” is not just a Sandoval thing.)
He went on to write that “I feel like this is a punishment from the man upstairs.” Jax didn’t stop there. The SUR bartender went on to write all of the wrongs humans have done, in his opinion, to deserve the coronavirus outbreak.
Jax Says God is ‘Tired’ of How Humans Behave
How we treat one another. How we treat the planet. “Ungrateful” people. Those are all the reasons Jax listed for why God would inflict coronavirus on the world. He implored his followers to let this be a “wake up call.”
Maybe the quarantine is getting to him. He reminds fans to “remember what it was like when our freedom was taken.” Jax advises people to “change for the better” after the coronavirus crisis is over.
“Do better,” is Jax’s solution. The post ends by saying that changing our ways will “pay him [God] back” for all he’s done for us.

Us Weekly reports that more than 30,000 people have died worldwide from coronavirus, including 2,500 in the U.S. alone. The number of positive cases in the U.S. increases every day.
Bravo host Andy Cohen recently tested positive for coronavirus, TV Shows Ace reports.
Fans React To Jax’s Post
Some fans do agree with the VPR star’s post, even quoting bible verses as “proof” that God is behind coronavirus. However, many more fans took serious issue with Jax’s post. One fan advised him to “delete” the tweet.
One fan found it “weird” that God would punish the elderly and other at-risk people but spare “self-obsessed reality TV sociopaths.”
Huh, weird that god would punish the elderly, cancer patients, healthcare professionals, etc and yet for some reason spare self-obsessed reality tv sociopaths. He truly works in mysterious ways 🙃

Another inquired when, exactly, Jax became religious. They advised Jax to self-reflect because he’s “no saint.”
As of right now, the post is still on Instagram Stories and Twitter. But it’s likely Jax will do a dirty delete after facing enough backlash.
