‘Bringing Up Bates’: Tori And Bobby Smith’s Baby Boy Is Here
The Bringing Up Bates family has grown! Tori Bates and Bobby Smith’s second child has arrived. They first announced the pregnancy in October, as reported by TV Shows Ace. Now, their little one is finally here.
The couple spoke with PEOPLE about their son’s arrival. They said,“It feels like such a crazy time in our world right now, but praise the Lord our little Kolter Gray has safely arrived! We are absolutely in love! In spite of all the questions in our minds of how things might unfold, God is so good and we are excitedly anticipating going home to enjoy our time together as a family of four. Our hearts are with all those who are combating the silent enemy of COVID-19, and we encourage everyone to protect those around them and love each other like never before! God Bless, Bobby, Tori, Kade, & Kolter.”
They announced that he was born on March 25 at 4:17pm. He’s a healthy baby at 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and 20 inches long. Bobby and Tori are glad he arrived safely.

Bringing Up Bates: Baby Kolter joins big brother Kade
Kolter is the couple’s second child. Their first son, Robert Ellis IV, a.k.a. Kade , is 16 months old. He was born in November 2018. So, the two little boys are very close in age.
Bringing Up Bates fans are excited to see the two brothers grow up together. And, they’re especially looking forward to seeing new pictures of Baby Kolter as he grows. Unfortunately, Tori and Bobby aren’t very active on social media. But, fans will be happy with even the occasional baby pictures. They have shared some photos of Kade.

COVID-19 impacted Kolter’s birth
PEOPLE also shared exclusive pictures of the family in the hospital. Due to COVID-19, hospitals are limiting the number of people allowed in a hospital room. So, they are lucky that Bobby was able to be in the room with Tori. They weren’t able to have any other visitors.
Because of this, the rest of the Bates family has been FaceTiming Bobby and Tori to “meet” the newest addition. Kade also “met” his baby brother via FaceTime. According to Tori and Bobby, Kade is “blowing him all the kisses he can through FaceTime.”
Bobby and Tori are eager to get back home so they can settle in as a family of four. Kade and Kolter meeting for the first time will be a highlight.
