The Duggar Family Is Social-Distancing From Each Other
There have been questions about larger families practicing social-distancing. The coronavirus pandemic is very serious, and social-distancing is advised. But, how are families like the Duggar family getting by? As fans know, Jim Bob and Michelle have 19 kids. Some of them have grown up and started families of their own. But, they are still a tight-knit bunch. In the past, they have talked about weekly family nights at the “Big House.”
Now, with social-distancing being advised, are they still able to see each other? This has been a popular question recently. Jessa Seewald shared a new social media post featuring her kids and husband. This got Duggar fans wondering how the family is handling the pandemic and social-distancing.
A fan of the family commented on Jessa’s post and asked if they’re staying away from Jim Bob and Michelle’s “Big House.” Jessa responded, saying, “Yes, and we miss everybody like crazy! The kids keep begging to go to Granny’s house. Praying this will all pass soon.”

So, even though the family is very close, they have chosen to stay apart from one another. It sounds like this is difficult for the little ones to understand. They miss their grandparents, and they likely miss playing with their cousins too.
Duggar family members practice social-distancing on their own
It seems that all of the family members who live on their own are staying at their own homes. It’s unclear how this decision was made. But, it’s possible they were concerned about spreading germs. After all, several babies were born in November 2019, and one arrived in January 2020. Plus, Joy-Anna Forsyth is expecting. So, it seems wise to social-distance for everyone’s health. But, based on what Jessa shared, it doesn’t seem like this is an easy thing to do.
Jessa and Ben have enjoyed spending time outdoors with their three kids. Jill Dillard shared a list of activities for parents to do with their children. It seems that she’s keeping her two sons busy with projects and activities. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are hunkering down in their home in Los Angeles, California, where a “safer-at-home” order has been put in place.

The Duggar family shared a statement via Facebook. In their post, they talk about “trusting the Lord” during this time. Fans seem to appreciate their outlook and their positivity amid the tragedy.
