‘This Is Us’ Will Come To An End With Season 6
Fans of This Is Us hate to see their favorite show come to an end. While Season 4 is wrapping up on Tuesday, March 24, there is some good news ahead. According to the show’s showrunners, there are two more seasons left. While some fans wish the show would never end, this has been the plan for a while now. TV Shows Ace previously reported on the show ending with Season 6. Of course, fans were hopeful that things would change.
Isaac Aptaker, who is one of the showrunners, talked about the show coming to an end. The producers and showrunners don’t want to stretch it out. They want to give viewers quality episodes every single time. He said, “I would hope that when we reach our ending, people think it’s a really satisfying end place that makes sense, and it feels like they’ve watched something that is a complete piece of work because that’s really how we’re trying to plan it. We’ve had this end in mind for a long time, so we’re able to plan for it and try to make it feel like it’s a whole, as opposed to a series that’s going to go endlessly.”
If they would extend This Is Us beyond those six seasons, there may be more filler content. One thing that viewers really appreciate about the show is how every episode has a purpose. There don’t seem to be many filler episodes, if any at all. Every episode in every season has proven to be worth viewers’ time, as most who watch the show agree.

Based on what Aptaker has said, it seems that the ending of the show is intentional They’ve been planning this. The show isn’t necessarily being canceled. It certainly gets plenty of attention from its dedicated viewers.

You can catch the Season 4 finale of the drama on NBC on Tuesday, March 24 at its usual airtime. You can also log in to NBC.com or the NBC app using your TV provider, so you can watch it live. If you can’t watch it live, be sure to set your DVR to record it.
Otherwise, it will be available to stream on Wednesday, March 25 on Hulu. The new episodes typically appear around 5am the day after an episode airs. While you’re on Hulu, you can rewatch some of the older episodes. This is a good way to spend your time while social-distancing too.
