‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ Season 7 Ended – Will There Be A Season 8?
My Big Fat Fabulous Life aired its last episode for Season 7 on Tuesday. The final scenes showed Chase Severino proposing to Whitney Way Thore at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Well, many fans thought Chase and Whitney in a romance could be a faked storyline. But, irrespective, their engagement opens up the possibility of another season in the future. So, will there be one and when could fans expect it?
My Big Fat Fabulous Life – Whitney engaged to Chase could see a renewal
Things happen in real life way ahead of the actual show. In fact, TV Shows Ace reminded readers they actually became engaged back in October last year. In the past, the shows that became renewed went straight into filming for the next season. So, there’s plenty of scope for a marriage date or even a wedding in a new show. Plus, Chase seems not keen on kids. Meanwhile, Whitney wants children. That seems a big stumbling block. But, if Whitney gets her way (and she usually does), a future season could feature her with a baby bump.
On social media, many fans already ask if another season’s planned by TLC. So, far, no word came from TLC. But, given their hiatus on filming other shows, that’s not very strange. The COVID 19 outbreak stalled many shows. Even the 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days Tell-All got delayed. Still, long before TLC made their new season announcement last year, Monsters and Critics pointed out that Whitney leaked it via her Instagram. Maybe the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star will do so again, this time.
Not all fans want a new season of the show
On Twitter, fans expressed how fed up they are with Buddy. In past seasons he annoyed them, and this season yet again. Those who complain about it would rather watch nothing than see Buddy again. One follower noted, “I swear we better not have to endure another season of Heather moping over Buddy. Desperation isn’t cute on any size.” But, another one noted, “I have been watching since It came on and I always look forward to watch @whitneywaythore every week and I hope there will be another season.”
Meanwhile, on Whitneys Instagram, some followers feel the My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 7 was way too short. Over there, many people clamored for another season. One loyal follower said, “I feel like the season just started! Hopefully, we won’t have to wait so long for the next season!” So, far Whitney never responded to any of the fans asking about a new season. Possibly, she simply does not know.

Usually, the filming starts after the end of the current season and airs around January. But, with the COVID 19 setbacks, possibly, next January’s out of the question.
