Celebrities of all genres are getting pushback from fans over ignorant comments about the coronavirus crisis. Actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Evangeline Lilly faced social media wrath this week. Their views on the coronavirus pandemic riled fans. The Real Housewives of Orange County star gave them a run for their money on her podcast.

Popular Celebrities Face Backlash for Coronavirus-Related Posts

The High School Musical actress said everyone is going to die eventually anyway. An Instagram Live video showed Vanessa’s rant about missing Coachella.  She did try to walk back her comments, but the damage was done.

LOST actress Evangeline Lilly refused to self-quarantine and took her children to gymnastics practice. Evangeline defended herself by writing that if she has to choose between freedom and dying, she chooses freedom.

Vanderpump Rules stars weren’t immune from a bout of foot-in-mouth disease. Scheana Shay posted an open invitation for her friends to come quarantine with her. Lala Kent, on the other hand, said that she would use coronavirus for “publicity” if she tested positive.

Meanwhile, other celebrities, such as Bravo exec Andy Cohen and Colton Underwood, found out that they do have coronavirus.

RHOC Star Vicki Gunvalson Says Coronavirus ‘Is the Flu’

During an episode of her Whoop It Up With Vicki podcast, the former RHOC star downplayed the seriousness of COVID-19. She deemed the pandemic as just “the flu.” She went on to say that she’s not worried about it, Reality Blurb reports.

According to Vicki, when it’s your time, it’s your time. She says,

The Lord has already determined when we’re going to die and how we’re going to die so literally, I don’t care.”

Vicki told her listeners about an experience shopping at Costco. She found the shelves empty and a long line outside the store. Vicki railed against people who have “gone crazy” with panic over the illness.

Calm as a cucumber Vicki is not letting the coronavirus pandemic rattle her. But she is afraid of one thing. Quarantine at sea. She said, “I do not want to be quarantined on a ship.” Why would she be?

Well, Vicki’s fiance, Steve Lodge, wants the couple to finally tie the knot on a cruise ship in April. Vicki’s concern is agreeing to a wedding at sea risks staying on the ship “forever and ever.”

Luckily for Vicki, most cruise ships are not sailing until mid-April or longer.

Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star feels Vicki’s pain. Brandi Glanville posted to Twitter earlier this week that she’s out of toilet paper already, as TV Shows Ace reports.

Drop a line down below about whether the RHOC star’s comments were insensitive. Tell us how you’re coping with the quarantine.

The Real Housewives of Orange County returns later this year without Vicki. The OG left after 14 Seasons.

Brandi will appear on the upcoming 10th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It premieres April 15 on Bravo.
