Savannah has anxiety

In this caption, Savannah admits to two very powerful things. First off, she has anxiety and she worries. How human and admirable of the Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley star? Secondly, she states that she spoke to her therapist- and it helped! It is becoming more and more common to openly speak about mental health and the different ways to cope.

“At the end of the day… your mindset about an issue is what gives you stress and anxiety,” writes Savannah. “Giving some power to the old adage of mind over matter.”

She writes that,”I am the worrier of the bunch (along with my daddy).”

She also has faith

Savannah transitions this nicely into her decision and choices about what she is going to do with her anxiety. “Therefore today I CHOOSE to be positive and optimistic…I CHOOSE to believe in my Heavenly Father and the plan that He has for us… a plan to give us hope and a future.”

Todd Chrisley tweeted the following earlier, showing that worrying isn’t the only thing his daughter gets from her daddy.

This isn’t the first time Savannah’s received attention for sharing her faith on Instagram. In August 2019, she shared a Bible verse after her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, plead not guilty to tax evasion according to Access.

Savannah offers her fans advice

In a shout out “To all my young people,” 22-year-old Savannah encourages them to “LISTEN TO OUR GOVERNMENT…” Savannah elaborates by explaining that, “While you may be having fun you could also be infecting someone extremely vulnerable.”

Summed up nicely with the hashtags #selfless and #love, Savannah brought to light several issues we’re facing with the coronavirus pandemic. She uses her public platform to show that it is okay to be open about anxiety. Savannah also showed it’s okay to be open about your faith. She used her message to spread kindness during an uncertain time. Everything in her post was important for people to see and she used her social media to relate to fans her age.
