‘The Bachelor’: Ali Fedotowsky-Manno Speaks On Peter Weber’s Mom – ‘Appalling’

The Bachelor Barbs

The Bachelor fans expressed outrage and concern over the way Peter Weber’s mom treated Madison Prewett on the finale show. And other members of Bachelor Nation seemed taken aback as well, including the host, Chris Harrison. Now, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, The Bachelorette from 2010, chimed in with her feelings. In fact, she described Barb’s behavior as “appalling.”

The Bachelor – Peter Weber’s mom gets a ton of hate

The Bachelor fans turned on Peter’s mom Barb after she rudely called Madison out and let the world know she didn’t like her. It all went down on national television. Stunned fans grew angry and took to social media to express their outrage. TV Shows Ace reported that Madison and Peter split since then, and many fans think it’s because Peter’s mom was so hostile. Meanwhile, Peter spoke out, saying he loves his mom, and apparently, there’s no ill-feeling. In fact, he denied she had anything to do with their split.

Even with Peter’s denial, fans continue giving Barb a piece of their mind. Actually, even the host Chris Harrison told People, that he was shocked at her reaction on the show. He said, “I was really surprised and shocked and a little saddened by that.” Chris added that he felt the timing was off. After all, fans agree she should have waited and spoken in private after the show. Now, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno also spoke out against Barb on The Bachelor.

Ali Fedotowsky-Manno says she’s appalled by Barb

People caught up with Ali and she’s certainly not impressed. Obviously, she can’t crow about the hate Barb gets from fans of ABC. But, she probably understands it. After, all, she described Barbara’s behavior as “appalling.” Firstly, she got upset when Barb basically made the decision for Peter, when she said that she only wants “what’s best” for her son. While that’s natural, Ali feels she shouldn’t have tried to make 23-year-old Madison look like some kind of monster.

The Bachelor mom could easily have not spoken out on television, Ali thinks. She noted, “To me, the way Barb treated her, there’s no excuse for it,” adding, “It’s appalling quite frankly.” Meanwhile, on social media, some fans of the show wonder if Barb just cooked Peter’s goose. After all, while the drama’s great for ratings, with Chris Harrison unhappy at what went down, he might even back off the idea of Peter starring on the franchise again. Only time will tell.
