Duggar Fans Are Confused Over Birthday Post For Derick
Derick Dillard recently celebrated his birthday! As TV Shows Ace reported, his wife, Jill Duggar Dillard, shared a heartfelt message to him. She wrote it out on social media for all her followers to see. Fans think it looks like they had a great day together. They celebrated at Waffle House. Plus, Jill revealed that her boys made cards for their dad on his special day.
Surprisingly, Jill wasn’t the only person to wish Derick well on his birthday. Jill’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, wished him a happy birthday too. On social media, they dedicated a post to their son-in-law. They shared a few pictures of Derick and said, “We’re so thankful for you! You’re a loving husband to our sweet Jill, and a wonderful daddy to your boys.”

Duggar fans wonder about Derick’s relationship with his in-laws
For the past couple of months, Derick has been bringing some things to light. He is speaking out about Jim Bob and Michelle and how things are rocky with them. He’s had some negative things to say about them, which fans believe are true. Derick claims that Jill isn’t allowed at her parents’ home without Jim Bob’s permission. She’s missed out on family events. That, along with other shocking claims, have been made by Derick. Because of this, he has even promised to write a tell-all book about the Duggar family.
But, the family still wrote a nice message to Derick on his birthday. They certainly didn’t have to go out of their way to do that. Could this mean that they’ve made amends? Or, is Derick making everything else up? Maybe they’re just being kind or want to keep things positive on social media. It’s unclear what exactly is going on, and it’s unlikely they’re going to be open with fans about it. Well, based on Derick’s past statements, it’s possible he’ll share the details.

It’s worth noting that the pictures Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared on Derick’s birthday aren’t new. They shared a total of three photos. They’re either older or they came from Jill and Derick’s Instagram pages. So, this means that the family members aren’t necessarily keeping in touch and sending each other photos. It’s possible that Jim Bob and Michelle took screenshots of Derick’s and Jill’s Instagram posts.

And, as mentioned, they used older photos too. Still, some fans wonder if the family is actually on good terms. Maybe Derick was starting rumors for some odd reason. Or, maybe everything has blown over. They could’ve just made an effort to reconcile for his birthday.
