Why Did Josh Duggar’s Siblings Miss His Birthday?
Josh Duggar celebrated his 32nd birthday on Tuesday. Some of his family members chose to document the special day on social media. His parents, his sister Jana, and his wife Anna all shared posts. Aside from them, no one else chose to celebrate him via social media.
Anna shared a couple of posts about the birthday celebrations for Josh. First, they had a party at the Big House, which is where Jim Bob and Michelle live. Then, they went to the bowling alley. The family revealed that bowling was half price.
Duggar fans were quick to notice that the picture of the family looks pretty empty. Fans think that there should be a lot more people there in a family with 19 kids. Plus, there are spouses and grandkids who should be pictured.
They are surprised that not more of Josh’s siblings were at his birthday, especially because it was a two-day thing. Surely, they could have made it for at least one of the events. So, why weren’t Josh’s siblings there? Now, fans are coming up with theories for this.
Duggar siblings might not be happy with Josh
If you’ve been following this famous family for a while, then you know about Josh’s past. Molestation allegations came out in 2015. There were a few girls involved and some of them are his sisters. So, based on that information, some fans think that his siblings aren’t too fond of him. They may keep a distance for their own sake due to that trauma. Plus, some fans argue that his siblings don’t want him around their children.
Josh also got caught on Ashley Madison, which is a site used to help men find extramarital affairs. This information was released when he was already married to Anna. Some fans think his siblings don’t want to support him and his inappropriate behavior.

They could have all been busy
A few of the Duggar family’s followers are defending those who didn’t appear to be there. They are saying that they could have been busy. That’s definitely likely, especially because everyone has their own schedules. They might have had something going on.
So, it’s possible that they didn’t intentionally miss Josh’s birthday. Some of them could have had prior plans. For example, a couple of the boys are in Tennessee helping with tornado cleanup. Other things could’ve kept some of the kids from attending his birthday celebration.
It could be hard to get all the kids in one picture
Fans don’t even know who all went to Josh’s birthday celebration at the Big House and at the bowling alley. All fans have seen are pictures from the family. Only a few photos were shared, and they may not have included everyone. With Jim Bob, the 19 kids, the spouses, and the grandchildren, it would be tricky to get everyone in every picture.
So, perhaps there were more Duggar kids there, but they couldn’t all be in every picture.

Duggar family addresses concerns
In response to all of the questions on their post about Josh’s birthday, the Duggar family decided to answer. They said, “Not everyone could make it that night, and not everyone got in the photo! ☺️”
