Duggar Fans Say Joy Looks Really Young In New Photo
Gideon Forsyth celebrated his second birthday recently, as TV Shows Ace reported. As usual, members of the Duggar family created social media posts to wish the toddler a happy birthday. Lots of fans of Counting On went online to leave a nice message for Gideon and his family.
One of the birthday posts came from Gideon’s parents, Austin and Joy-Anna. Austin and Joy-Anna share an Instagram account, but fans assume Joy posts most of the pictures.
Joy’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, shared a sweet post to honor Gideon too. Fans are loving seeing all of the pictures of the two-year-old. He’s definitely one of Duggar fans’ favorite kids in the family.
Duggar fans notice how young Joy looks
In the post that Joy shared for Gideon’s birthday, she included a picture of herself with Gideon.
It’s worth noting that Joy doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, if any. She also has more of a tomboy style, which may make her look even younger.

On Reddit, someone posted the picture and said, “You could tell me this is a girl with her brother & I would believe it.”
In response, lots of other Duggar fans and critics agreed. Some of them pointed out that she looks a lot like some of her younger sisters. Some of them said she looks just like she did when she was young. They don’t think she has aged much at all since they watched her grow up on her family’s TLC shows.
How old is Joy?
Joy is pretty young, by society’s standards, to be married and to have a child. As mentioned, she has a two-year-old son. She also lost a baby at 20 weeks gestation last summer.
Joy is only 22 years old. She and Austin tied the knot when she was only 19 years old. So, Joy has experienced a lot of life over the past few years.
Duggar fans think Joy resembles Michelle
In several comments on both Reddit and Instagram, fans said that Joy looks like her mom. One said that they thought it was Michelle in the photo at first glance.
Someone else said, “She looks exactly like Michelle currently does and also like a nine year old.” Others pointed out that they had never thought she looks like Michelle until now.
