Jill shared the big news with her followers via a YouTube video and a post on Instagram. The mom documented kindergarten registration. She and Derick excitedly reported that Israel had passed his screening and was ready for kindergarten. He will start going to public school in the fall. In the video, the four-year-old is happy to be exploring his new school.

Since Jill asked for tips and tricks, lots of her followers are weighing in. Some are suggesting she gets Israel in the routine of waking up early soon. Others are saying she needs to make sure he can open all of the containers she packs in his lunch box.

A handful of parents are encouraging Jill to get involved at the school too. They suggest she joins the PTO or volunteers in the classroom.

Some are warning Jill that the first week or two will be rough. Duggar fans are discussing their own experiences and that adjustment period. Israel will need some time to get used to being in school all day.

Not all fans are excited for Israel

Many Duggar fans are expressing their excitement for Israel. They are talking about how this will be a great experience for the young boy and how he’s going to make a lot of friends. Plus, they’re impressed with Jill’s decision to break away from her family a bit.
