Duggar Fans Think Joy-Anna Forsyth Is Pregnant
Rumors about a possible Duggar pregnancy have been swirling. At the moment, no women in the family have announced that they’re expecting. There was a big baby boom in 2019, so there are few women ready to have another baby. In 2019, the following couples welcomed babies:
- Ben and Jessa Seewald — Ivy Jane was born on May 26, 2019.
- Joe and Kendra — Addison Renee was born on November 2, 2019.
- Josiah and Lauren — Bella Milagro was born on November 8, 2019.
- Josh and Anna — Maryella Hope was born on November 27, 2019.
In addition, John and Abbie had their first daughter, Grace Annette, on January 7, 2020. So, that leaves few options for who could be expecting next.
But, Duggar fans seem to have a strong feeling that Joy-Anna is already pregnant or that she’s trying to conceive.
Joy-Anna had a loss at 20 weeks pregnant
In May, Joy-Anna revealed that she was expecting her second child. She and Austin already share one son, Gideon, who is almost two years old.
Sadly, in June, Joy-Anna and Austin experienced a tragic loss. When Joy-Anna was 20 weeks pregnant, the doctor shared that they could not find the baby’s heartbeat. They named the lost baby Annabell Elise. The couple was open about the loss on social media.

Throughout this, Duggar fans rallied around Joy-Anna and Austin, offering support to the couple as they grieved. Though Joy-Anna kept a positive attitude about her sisters being pregnant at the same time, fans assume that this was very hard on her. Her baby was supposed to be born at the same time as several of her sisters’ babies.
After the loss, Joy-Anna revealed that she was going to give her body time to heal before getting pregnant again. She mentioned this in November. She said, “We want to be wise and give my body time to heal. But we are excited for the children that God’s going to give us and can’t wait. I don’t know if four is the number. I mean, I would be fine with a few more if that’s what God wants us to have.”
Why do Duggar fans think Joy-Anna is pregnant?
Now, fans believe that Joy-Anna is either pregnant or trying to conceive. First, they noticed that Joy-Anna shared a new photo of herself and her husband on January 20. She cropped the photo so her stomach couldn’t be seen.

Plus, it’s worth noting that Joy-Anna hasn’t announced anything yet. This could be due to her loss. She might be waiting until she reaches that 20-week mark before revealing that she’s pregnant.
