Hallmark’s ‘A Valentine’s Match’: All The Details
February is the official month of romance, and A Valentine’s Match promises a tender and sweet romance between first loves. Starring Bethany Joy Lenz and Luke Macfarlane, in his first Hallmark Valentine’s movie, this is tender a story of first love. Is this a forever love?
What Is A Valentine’s Match About?
What happens when some meddling mom’s do a little matchmaking? We find out in A Valentine’s Match! Natalie Simmons (Lenz) heads back to her hometown to recoup. She’s recently been fired from her job as a reality television host. Thanks to her mom Alicia, (Mary-Margaret Humes) Natalie has agreed to get involved with an annual Valentine’s auction. Little does she know, her matchmaking mom has made sure Natalie is paired up in this project with her first love, Zach Williams (Macfarlane). Don’t count out his mom, played by Karen Kruper. She is determined to get these two together despite their breaking up ten years before.
But, what split these love birds in the first place? We see Zach admitting to a friend of his that he felt he was holding her back. Zach didn’t have the urge to explore the world, and instead, wanted to stay in their hometown. Zach broke their engagement. He loved her, but felt he needed to let her go. So, he broke it off to give her the freedom to pursue her dreams. Now, Natalie is engaged to someone else.
According to the Hallmark preview, we see Natalie and Zach dancing and chatting. “You always brought out the best in me Zach.” Most importantly, these matchmaking moms know something about these two, even if they don’t see it themselves!
Where Can You See Hallmark’s A Valentine’s Match?
A Valentine’s Match premieres on Saturday, February 1 at 9 p.m. Eastern time on the Hallmark Channel. Encore showings include Feb. 2 at 12 p.m., Feb. 4 at 10 p.m., Feb. 8 at 7 p.m., Feb. 9 3 p.m., and Feb 14 at 8 p.m., all times Eastern. This is a story about enemy shopping network co-hosts who find love, after she is publicly humiliated.
