This is not the first spin-off for the franchise
The proposed seniors version of The Bachelor is not the first spin-off for the franchise. Fans know they now have Bachelor in Paradise every summer to look forward to. This show usually airs after The Bachelorette wraps up. Aside from BIP, there was also Bachelor Pad, which didn’t last too long.

The show only lasted two weeks, four episodes, but it was loved by fans. It combined stateside and international contestants from The Bachelor.
The latest official spin-off is the upcoming series The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart. Much to everyone’s delight, Chris Harrison will be hosting the show.
He went to Instagram to share the news and said, “Hey, Bachelor Nation. Hopefully by now you’ve heard of the exciting new show coming from all of us here at The Bachelor called Listen to Your Heart — think A Star Is Born meets Bachelor in Paradise. hYeah, I know… sounds good, right? Well, I’m here to officially announce that I will be hosting this exciting new show. We got a new mansion, new drama, but it’s still also about love. Well, and also this time about music. Can’t wait for the journey to begin.”
