‘LPBW’ Alum Audrey Roloff Reveals Meaning Behind Bode’s Name
Little People, Big World alums Jeremy and Audrey Roloff have a new son, Bode James. He was born on January 8. The family is overjoyed to have a new baby in their life. TV Shows Ace reported on the newest LPBW addition.
When he was born, Jeremy and Audrey revealed that his name is Bode James. Leading up to his birth, fans of the family were wondering what they would name him. The couple shares a daughter named Ember, so LPBW fans expected a unique name for their second child.

Now, Audrey has posted on Instagram and shared all about the little boy’s special name. Since he arrived, fans have been curious about the pronunciation. They also wanted to know how the family came up with his name.
LPBW alum Audrey Roloff shares about Bode’s name
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Audrey shared about Bode’s name. She shared a series of photos of the baby boy. In two photos, Ember is holding Bode on a rocking chair. In the last photo, Audrey is holding her new son in the rocking chair and is giving him a kiss. Behind them is a gorgeous balloon display that features his name.
The former LPBW mom wrote, “Bode’s name means messenger. We pray for our Bode to be a messenger of the Gospel. That his life would be a message of hope, truth, and love to many🙏🏻“.
Then, she continued, “His name is a nod to my maiden name ‘Botti’ pronounced ‘bo-tee,’ as a way to honor my side of the family. His middle name ‘James’ is a family name on the Roloff side. Jeremy, his dad, his grandpa and his great grandpa all have the middle name James☺️”
Of course, LPBW fans were curious about when they came up with the name. Audrey answered this question in her post too and said, “We were pretty set on Bode (pronounced ‘bo-dee’) during my pregnancy but we’re still tossing around other ideas into my 3rd trimester. Then one day randomly Jer’s grandma called him and said, ‘I have a really good name suggestion for you! What about Bode?!’ We were shook😱 It was a confirming affirmation.”
Fans in the comments of Audrey’s post love the meaning behind Bode’s name. They think it’s pretty special that it was even suggested by Jeremy’s grandma.
