Will all the Duggar Drama be Revealed in a Family Member’s Tell-All Book?
The Duggar family has been making their way into the homes of Americans for over a decade. The family first hit the screen in 2008 with 17 Kids and Counting. The Duggars have been an object of fascination ever since. According to Showbiz CheatSheet fans of the Duggars’ latest TLC show are suspecting one family member will be writing a tell-all book.
The Duggar family is not your typical American family. But nonetheless, Americans love to keep up with their lives. Michelle and Jim Bob Dugger, the parents, are extremely religious and raise their 19 children with very strict rules and values. For example their kids are not allowed to date until they’re 18. Even at 18 they may only court with a pre-approved significant other.
19 Kids and Counting On
The original Duggar Family show, 19 Kids and Counting, has been off the air since 2015. This cancellation was due to allegations against Michelle and Jim Bob’s oldest son Josh. According to ABC News, Josh inappropriately touched several minor girls.
To allow everyone to move on the show Counting On came out. This show allows fans to keep up with the lives of the Duggars’ older children with less focus on Michelle and Jim Bob’s household.
As the kids get older, it seems to only lead to more drama. This is why fans think one family member will write a tell-all book spilling out what truly goes on inside the Duggar family.
Fans predict Derick Dillard will eventually write a tell-all book
According to Showbiz CheatSheet Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard has perhaps been the biggest source of information for what really goes on in the Duggar household.
It seems since Derick and Jill have distanced themselves from the rest of the family, Derick has been revealing more and more about the real Michelle and Jim Bob.
In late 2019 CafeMom reported that Derick started replying to old tweets and sharing his real thoughts about some issues he has encountered with Jim Bob. Derick insinuated that Jim Bob doesn’t distribute the Counting On salaries fairly. The drama continues with Showbiz CheatSheet stating that Derick recently revealed on Instagram that he and Jill need permission from her parents to visit the Duggar home.
This trickling of revelations from Derick on social media has fans trying to predict if he will eventually write a tell-all book about the family.
