Many young people have begun using YouTube. YouTube gives creators an option to monetize their videos. So, when people watch the videos, the creator of the video receives revenue. A couple of the girls in the Duggar family have created their own YouTube channels. Jana and Jessa Duggar post to their YouTube channels somewhat frequently.

It’s possible that they are monetizing their videos as a way to get some extra income. It’s something they can do from the comfort of their homes, and once the video is up, the income is passive. They don’t have to do any extra work to keep making money. Plus, both Jana and Jessa have a good fan base because of their family’s TV show, Counting On. This makes it easier for them to get more subscribers on YouTube. They are pretty popular on Instagram as well. Duggar fans love to keep up with the family.

Jana has only uploaded three videos so far, but it’s likely she has other ideas in the works. She has posted a homemade rolls recipe video, a gel nail tutorial, and a video of her brothers singing. Right now, Jana has 4.42k subscribers on YouTube. Her first video, the roll one, was seen by about 27,000 people. So, not everyone who watches her videos has subscribed to her channel.

Jessa has posted a lot more videos than Jana has, but not all of them are recent. There are a handful of older videos of Ben talking about Christianity. Now, Jessa has been posting videos about motherhood. She talks about how her kids are picky eaters and gives haircutting tutorials. She has an impressive 49.3k subscribers, so she’s almost at that 50k mark. Again, not everyone who watches her videos subscribes. Her Duggar Christmas video has 705k views.

What does Jessa Duggar’s success on YouTube mean for her?

Based on Jessa’s subscriber count and view count on her videos, it’s obvious that she’s doing well on YouTube. So, what does this mean for the Counting On star?

Well, Monsters & Critics isn’t so sure that the girls have begun monetizing their videos yet. Of course, they probably plan on it. This would be an easy way for them to make some extra money.

If Jessa monetizes her videos, she could earn $4,000 to $69,000 each year. This statistic comes from Social Blade. This depends on the type of ads that are included in her videos, which is why there’s such a wide range for her possible income. As her channel continues to grow, she can make even more money.

This extra income might be helpful, because Derick Dillard, Jill Duggar’s husband, recently revealed that Jim Bob keeps the Counting On money. The adult kids don’t get paid by TLC, but Jim Bob does.

So, if Jessa and Ben aren’t getting as much as they should, Jessa’s YouTube gig could be really useful. Perhaps, Jessa planned on starting her YouTube channel for this reason.
