Duggar: Joy-Anna Says Gideon Is ‘Growing Up Too Fast’
Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar is married to Austin Forsyth. The couple tied the knot on May 26, 2017. Then, on February 23, 2018, their son, Gideon, was born. When he arrived, the couple wrote, “We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth. Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful.”
Via social media, Joy-Anna and Austin keep fans updated on their lives. They share an Instagram account, as do several other Duggar couples. It’s assumed that the wives run the accounts.

On Monday, Joy shared a new picture of Gideon. In her caption, she writes, “He feels so accomplished getting his vest on all by himself!💙” In the photo, Gideon is wearing a vest, but he put it on backward. Joy also added a hashtag, #growinguptoofast.

In just a couple of months, her son will be two years old. Duggar fans agree that time has gone by quickly. He’s growing up even faster to his parents though. They see all of the new things he’s learning each day. They notice how much he’s growing.
Fans also can’t handle how cute he looks. They think that he looks like his cousins, Israel and Henry. They left lots of comments saying that he looks adorable in his vest, even if it might be on incorrectly.
Will Gideon be getting a sibling soon?
Duggar fans are patiently awaiting news of another child for Joy and Austin. Unfortunately, Joy and Austin recently had a tragic loss. In June, when Joy was 20 weeks along in her pregnancy, they found out the baby had passed away. On social media, the couple shared, “We named her Annabell Elise. Annabell means ‘God has favored me’, and Elise means ‘God satisfies’. What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”
Most recently, Joy has shared that she is letting her body heal before she gets pregnant again. The loss was even more difficult because three of her Duggar sisters were due in November. Their babies all arrived healthily and safely.
