Ember Roloff in hospital –  Jeremy knows how that feels

Six weeks ago, Jermey revealed that underwent hernia surgery. TV Shows Ace reported that he vowed in the future, he takes his health more seriously. At the time, he put off going to the doc. Later, he shared on Instagram, “Health is something that needs continual attention.” And when it comes to kids, they sure do. So, he and Aurdery never hesitated to rush Ember to the ER when her “fever spiked.”

People reported that this week, Jeremy grew frustrated at the hospital. He shared on his Instagram Stories that it took hours of waiting for Ember’s “urine” test results. Jeremy felt that delay didn’t “make sense.” He also noted in another Story, “Hospitals need fixing.” Well, for every parent who ever sat at the hospital with their sick child, time drags as they fret over their little one. He and Audrey only got home with Ember at around 5.00 am, Audrey noted on her Instagram.

Poor little Ember felt sick all week

Just days ago, grandad Matt hosted them at a Christmas party. Matt thanked Caryn Chandler for hosting”back-to-back” parties. That pic showed them with Lilah and Jackson, Tori Roloff’s kids. But, Jeremy, Audrey, and Ember Roloff also celebrated early with them. And, the day before, he shared that Ember painted him a nice picture. She looked okay in that picture. But Jeremy said she felt sick all week. At least she got in a Christmas party with grandad before her ER visit.

This time of the year, across social media, TV stars complain they feel ill. The season of goodwill and joy arrives, along with various colds, coughs, flu on the side. CDC reports that “most of the time flu activity peaks between December and February.” But, Audrey said this time her daughter suffered a “tummy bug.” We certainly hope she gets better soon. Any time kids become sick, concerned parents just hope for a quick recovery.

When should you take your little kid to the ER?

Children always experience a fever at one stage or another in their lives. But, when should parents like Audrey and Jeremy Roloff rush them to the ER? Kids Health Org notes on their website, “a higher temperature [comes in] response to an infection, illness, or some other cause. ” They recommend for kids in Embers age bracket, “If your child is between 3 months and 3 years old and has a fever of 102.2°F (39°C) or higher, call to see if your doctor needs to see your child.”

Ember Roloff went straight to the ER, and in the photo Audrey shared, she looked very ill, so possibly, Jeremy and Audrey didn’t want to risk waiting until morning to get their sweet girl medical attention. And, it turned out the poor little tyke has Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), an infection in the lungs and respiratory tract.
