Hallmark’s A Merry Christmas Match poses the question if we regret not following a dream or if we are happier helping out family, or can we trust ourselves to follow our dreams? This Countdown To Christmas Hallmark romance stars Kyle Dean Massey (Nashville), Ashley Newbrough (Mistresses), John DeLuca (Twisted) and Lindsey Gort (Lucifer). This is a wonderful Hallmark story about trusting yourself and letting you ask for what you want in life. Most of all, it answers the question: do female reindeer have antlers?

What Is A Merry Christmas Match About?

According to Hallmark, Corey Calvin (Newbrough) had always dreamt of moving to the big city and becoming a theatre director. She put aside her lifelong dreams a few years back, when her father passed on. Now, she works at her mom and late father’s antique store in the town of Harmony, and lives a part of her dream by directing her town’s yearly Christmas Pageant.

Then she serendipitously meets a big city cutie, Ryder Donnelly (Massey) at her family’s antique shop. Sparks instantly ignite. What keeps Corey from totally giving Ryder her heart is Victoria (Courtney Hope), a woman from Ryder’s past. Ryder invites her to his family’s estate for an elegant Christmas shindig as a surprise gift. Seems that there was a misunderstanding, which gets cleared up, until there is another misunderstanding. Corey feels deceived until the two meet again at the Christmas Pageant. At the event, it looks like true love. He asks her to leave her town and sell the antiques store and go with him. Does Corey leave Harmony and break her promise to her father? Or does she go after her dreams and forever love?
