What Is A Christmas Love Story About?
It is Christmas time and Katherine Clark (Chenoweth) is a youth choir teacher with a lot of problems to solve. She needs to write a big song for the Christmas Eve concert. She found a student with a beautiful voice, but, she needs to overcome the objections of his widowed father, Greg Scanton (Wolf).
When Katherine shows up to this student’s home to plead with Greg to let Danny perform, she finds herself stuck overnight due to a dangerous snowstorm. Her bubbly personality wins Greg over, but Danny is holding a secret.
Katherine is also fighting with her own past and her personal confidence. She was briefly a Broadway star, but only had one hit as a composer. Can Katherine and Greg manage to find love in the midst of self-doubt and personal problems?

Kristen Chenoweth’s First Hallmark Movie!
Speaking to Global News, Kristen gushed about the experience of acting in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Although she has been in so many incredible productions on stage and screen, she always wanted to act in a Hallmark Christmas movie. She explained that Hallmark does it all right. Claiming that everything looks “perfect,” she cited that they get the details right including the decorations, the music and “you immediately feel like it’s Christmas Day.”
Chenoweth also wanted to do this movie because “Hallmark has never approached the subject in A Christmas Love Story so that’s something that I’m very proud of here. That’s a first for them.“
When Can You Watch A Christmas Love Story?
A Christmas Love Story premiered on Hallmark on Saturday, December 7, with Encores airing on Dec. 8 at 4 p.m., Dec. 10 at 10:03 p.m., Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. , Dec. 14 at 6 p.m., Dec. 16 at 10:03 p.m., Dec. 18 at 6 p.m., Dec. 22 at 4 p.m., Dec. 25 at 3:30 p.m., and Jan. 3 at 6 p.m., all times are Eastern.
