‘Counting On’: Ben Seewald Mourns The Loss Of His Grandfather
Counting On star Ben Seewald is currently going through a tough time. On Saturday, he revealed that his grandfather has passed away. Jessa Duggar’s husband wrote, “Thankful to have had time together over Thanksgiving. Special moments. We love you, Grandpa. You are missed, but I believe we will meet again before long, with both of us in perfect health, and sing together the praise of our Savior who died to cleanse us of our sins reconcile us to God.”
He continues, “Thankful for victory over death through the death and resurrection of Christ. Even in death there is hope for those who believe on Jesus. Because He rose, we can have confidence that it is not the end, but a new beginning. ‘For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’

Along with this well-written caption, Counting On’s Ben Seewald shared a sweet picture of his baby girl, Ivy, with his grandfather. The picture was taken on Thanksgiving, which is the last time that Ben and Jessa’s family got to visit with him.

On her own social media page, Jessa posted a couple of pictures and a sweet video of Grandpa Eaton with Henry and Ivy. On her post, Jessa mentioned, “uncertainties of declining health and cancer”.
Counting On fans offer support to Ben and Jessa Seewald
Whenever members of the Duggar family need love and encouragement, Counting On fans are happy to help. In the comment sections of the two posts, fans are leaving heartfelt messages for Jessa and Ben to read. Anna Duggar, Jessa’s sister-in-law wrote, “So grateful you guys got to spend those precious moments with him. So sorry for your loss! Prayers going up for your sweet momma and family during this difficult time. 🙏🏼”
