‘Counting On’: Austin And Joy-Anna Forsyth Buy A New House – No More Campervan Living
Counting On fans reacted with shock back in August when Joy-Anna Forsyth revealed she and Austin live in a campervan. As we know they flip homes a lot, that seemed very strange. But now, Joy-Anna says they finally bought a home for themselves. So, she needn’t cope with the confined space of the campervan anymore.

TV Shows Ace noted back in August that Joy-Anna and Austin loved their little home. Plus, living in the camper made financial sense. At the time, Joy-Anna explained in an Instagram video that they planned on flipping more homes before investing in one for themselves. But now, things have changed and they bought a home with plans to live in it this time.
Sharing about it on Instagram this weekend, Joy-Anna noted the charm of campervan living wore off. She said, “WE BOUGHT A HOUSE and YES! We plan to settle down and live in this one for awhile! (sic)” The Counting On star noted they lived in the campervan for over a year. So, she’s really excited as she’s “ready for more space and a little more organization!”
All about the new house
With little Gideon growing up, it looks like more space really is ideal. The new home comes with “3 beds and 3 baths and its a very open floor plan!” And it looks like Austin won’t need to do much to fix it up. Joy-Anna mentioned, “We are just fixing up the basics… flooring, trim, new countertops, & fresh paint!” Joy’s got ideas for the style of the home, noting she likes the “Scandinavian, boho, minimalist style.”
Well, it sounds very exciting for the young Counting On couple. Fans of the TLC show know that Joy-Anna likes being hands-on, so hopefully, she’ll share pictures of their project as they go along. Perhaps Jana Duggar could help with the decor. Cheatsheet noted her passion for renovation. In fact, she often assists her brother with ideas about interior decorating in the homes they buy and sell.

Fans congratulate Joy-Anna on the new house
Counting On fans rushed to congratulate Joy-Anna. One fan noted, “Looks like it’s going to be a very beautiful home.” Another commented, “It’s going to be beautiful! Congratulations!” In the video, Joy showed the work in progress, and Austin’s really sorting it all out. In the meantime, the campervan’s parked outside, so they don’t need to commute to their new home project.
