Derick and Jill Duggar Dillard love to give their audience something to get up in arms about. Their latest outrage sparking act, dressing up for Halloween. Fans expressed displeasure with the couple for several reasons. This included the belief Halloween goes against their religion. They were most upset about the reason the family got dressed up for Halloween.
Fans who follow the Duggars know they don’t celebrate Halloween. It goes against their religious beliefs and Jill Duggar Dillard didn’t grow up dressing up for the holiday. Those who follow the Dillards closely know they don’t always strictly follow the Duggars rules. Fans were more upset with the family for the reason they got dressed up. In a post Jill said, “we had a blast. We enjoyed dressing up this evening and going out for some family fall fun and Halloween freebies & deals.”

Not only did Jill Duggar Dillard share they were getting freebies. She shared they were getting them from Chipotle, Sonic, and Krispy Kreme according to Pop Culture. One fan said, “why is it okay to dress up for freebies, but not to go trick or treating?” Another felt bad for the kids saying, “take the poor kids out trick or treating for some real fun.”
