‘RHOC’ Star Gina Kirschenheiter Cops To Sleeping With Estranged Husband Before Domestic Violence Incident
The Real Housewives of Orange County fans have a front-row seat to Gina Kirschenheiter’s dramatic life. Last season she revealed that the marriage to Matt Kirschenheiter was over.
However, the couple seemingly reconciled in the early summer of 2019. Viewers learned how far the estranged couple went during the brief time they got back together.
RHOC Co-Star’s Friend Spotted Gina and Matt on a Date
Us Weekly reports that a friend of Tamra Judge saw Matt and Gina kissing while on a dinner date. When RHOC co-star Tamra confronted Gina with the shocking gossip, Gina played it off. Joking about how news travels fast, Gina admitted to ‘making out’ with her estranged hubby.
“You can’t even make out with your own damn husband without being caught! We should have gotten takeout!”
Gina Kirschenheiter Confides That She Slept With Ex
While Gina initially tried to joke her way out of the rumors, she eventually told the truth. Speaking with co-stars Emily Simpson and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, the reality star admitted she did the deed with her ex-husband.
“Matt wanted to go to dinner and we ended up having a really good time … We might have slept together.”
She then spoke of the possibility of giving their marriage another try for the children. Matt and Gina share three children together. While confiding in her co-stars, Gina discussed her worry for one of the former couple’s children, Sienna.
“I’m concerned about Sienna. She has regressed at school and her teacher is not sure she’s going to be where she needs to be when she goes into kindergarten and this is terrifying to me.”
Gina went on to say that she felt responsible for her daughter’s troubles because she was overwhelmed without Matt’s help. Fans know that ultimately, the two didn’t reconcile for good. Especially after Matt’s arrest over the summer.
RHOC Star’s Estranged Husband Accused of Domestic Violence
Prior to Matt’s arrest, Gina never spoke negatively of her ex or how he treated her. The police report regarding the incident is quite shocked. People reports that Matt allegedly hit her, choked her and dragged her back in the house when she tried to run for help. Additionally, Gina says that Matt threatened to kill her.
It was only after his very public arrest that Gina revealed there was a history of physical abuse in their marriage. She recently spoke out about a creepy experience of finding her ex-husband in her bedroom.
Gina’s New Boyfriend
In late September, Gina posted a photo on her Instagram with a new man, boyfriend Travis Mullen. A new photo shared on her social media two weeks ago reveals that the couple is still together.
