‘Temptation Island’ Season 2 Exclusive Interview as Medinah Discusses Rick And Reasons For Joining Cast
Temptation Island Season 2 is getting good. This week TV Shows Ace got the chance to talk to Medinah about her time on the show and the scoop on Rick.
Medinah talks about why she wanted to join Temptation Island as a single
What made you want to join ‘Temptation Island’ as a single?
“I host a podcast called CockTales: Dirty Discussions that is about sex, dating and relationships. So everything dating is right up my alley! On the podcast I share very personal stories about my dating life so when I was approached to go on Temptation Island I thought it would be cool to be even more open and let my listeners get to actually see how I date (even if I end up embarrassing myself lol). I am always making sure I keep my heart open for love or a good fling lol. I’m a very honest and forward woman so going on Temptation Island as a single was the perfect opportunity and setting for me to possibly meet my match!”
Did you ever think that you would find someone you connected with on this show?
“I am a hopeless romantic and always looking for someone to fall in love with lol. I remember the night before reveal night when we were told we would finally get to see the potential loves of our lives that Payton (another single on the show) and I made a video about how excited we were to meet our husbands lol. So to answer the question – YES I DID THINK I WOULD FIND SOMEONE THAT I CONNECTED WITH ON THE SHOW.”
Medinah dishes on Rick and what fans can expect this season
Did knowing that Rick had been cheated on make it easier to go after him?
“Hell no, that makes me sound like I was looking at him like he was prey lol. Honestly after my first date with Rick he told me he did most of the cheating. What made it fun (I wouldn’t say easier) to go after Rick I knew he was not used to a woman like me.”
Was it hard to get him to open up?
“Getting Rick to open up was like trying to open a can of tuna without a can opener. Hard is an understatement.”
Any clues you can give us on what to expect?
“Hmmm I don’t want to give any spoilers but you can expect beautiful views, a little bit of drama, maybe some tears, scandalous behavior and a lot of tempting!”
Would Medinah ever go through this again?
Would you do it again if up to you?
“While I think the concept of the show is crazy lol I would absolutely do it again! Not only did I leave the island with an amazing group of new friends but I also learned a lot about some of my strengths and weaknesses when it comes to dating that I was never aware of. While the show was fun, sexy and steamy I think it was a learning process, as well.”
