Josiah and Lauren share an Instagram account, but fans believe that Lauren does most of the posting. In her posts, she has stressed the importance of supporting those who have gone through the same thing. She wants to make sure that nobody feels like they are alone in these struggles.

Fortunately, Lauren was able to get pregnant again after the miscarriage. In May, just a few months after announcing the miscarriage, they revealed they are expecting again. Now, Lauren’s due date is right around the corner. She is due in the middle of November so the baby could arrive any moment now. The couple is expecting a baby girl. They have yet to reveal her name.

Because Lauren had a miscarriage and wants to raise awareness and support, she has been a big help to Joy-Anna Forsyth. Joy-Anna is one of the sisters of Josiah, so she is Lauren’s sister-in-law. Joy-Anna lost her second child, a girl, at 20 weeks gestation. This heartbreaking loss came as a major shock to Duggar fans.

In July, Joy-Anna and Austin shared the news via their shared Instagram account. They revealed that the doctors could not find the heartbeat at the gender reveal ultrasound. In the midst of her grief, Joy-Anna has been sharing the highlights of her life. Of course, she still has bad days, which she shares about on Instagram.

Recently, Lauren spoke with Us Weekly. She shared that she was helping Joy-Anna through her loss. She said, “I remember just when Jessa was expecting Ivy and I had lost our first one, Asa. I just remember how sweet Jessa was. She’d write special notes and texts, just reminding me how much she loves me and that she was praying for me. That’s kind of one thing I do for Joy, sending her encouragement and sending her scripture. I know what it feels like when someone’s pregnant and you’re not. I know what you’re feeling and just knowing to be sensitive [to] different things.”

Lauren also explained that she had a lot of fears throughout her current pregnancy. It hasn’t been an easy pregnancy. Plus, her worries have been in the back of her mind the whole time. She says, “Every day, you have to give that sweet little one to the Lord. There are many times where you can just be fearful and think, ‘Oh, I’m going to lose this one too.’ But … this child belongs to the Lord. He’s the one that has given this life.”

As sad as it is that both women had to experience loss in this way, it’s helpful that they can connect with one another. They can help each other through these difficult times in their lives.
