Carlin Bates Stewart Sends Sweet Birthday Greetings To Joy-Anna Forsyth
Carlin Bates Stewart and Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth go back many years. The two families are friendly, but Carlin and Joy-Anna share a special bond. This bond and closeness came across very sweetly when Joy-Anna turned 22 years old on Monday. Carlin took to her Instagram and shared a sweet message about those memories.
Carlin Bates Stewart and Joy-Anna Duggars still the best of friends
The two reality TV stars share many common experiences. As Carlin put it in her birthday message, they both walked “down the aisle,” and they became “mommies.” Well, Carlin’s still carrying her first baby, but Joy-Anna birthed her gorgeous little boy Gideon a few years ago. Obviously close, Carlin also shared how hard she found it when she saw her friend Joy-Anna lose her baby earlier this year.
TV Shows Ace reported at the time that she said on Instagram, “I wish there were words to express how broken-hearted I am for my best friend. Seeing her give birth to her little girl, Annabell Elise, and knowing that she would never be able to hold her again while on earth just brings tears to my eyes.”
Meanwhile, for Carlin, things look okay with her first pregnancy. Romper reminds us that Carlin’s baby already got a gender reveal and a name. Her little girl’s name is Layla Rae Stewart.
Birthday greetings went down memory lane
On a happier note, Carlin remembered the happy times they shared as kids. She noted on her birthday greeting, that they “played in the dirt as kids.”
Plus, “You have been my best friend through it all! I don’t know where I’d be without you! You’ve been there to laugh with me and to cry with me. You’ve encouraged me and challenged me. You’ve been the best friend anyone could ever hope to have! Happy birthday, Joy! Love you big!”
Naturally, Joy-Anna replied to the post. She said, “THANK YOU, CARLIN!!!! I love you more than I can express!”
One fan noticed the closeness and thanked them both. They wrote, “this literally has made my heart swell. I understand we ( the public/fans) think we know you because you share a portion of your lives with us. When I read this post It made me feel the friendship ya’ll so clearly take such beautiful care of. Thanks for the portion you share and the inspiration you so generously lend us all who are your fans.”

Austin also posted on Joy-Anna’s birthday
Austin, Joy-Anna’s husband also shared a special message for her birthday. On his Instagram, he wrote, “Today my sweet wife turned 22 years old, we have been dating since she was 17. I can say that I have had the best time of my life with you, Joy!”
He added, “You are my best friend, cheer-leader, the one I go to for advice, adventure partner, comforter when I need encouragement, and the best mother to our son! You always point me to Christ and I love your relationship with our Savior!”
Then he finished off with, “I can’t imagine life without you and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you! I love you with all of my heart Joy Anna! – Austin.”
