Abbie Duggar Shares Rare Bumpdate, Is “So Excited To Meet Her”
On Tuesday, expectant mom Abbie Duggar shared a new bumpdate! The Counting On star and her husband, John David Duggar, share an Instagram account. They posted three photos with the caption, “One of our new favorite past times – feeling our little girl’s movements! We are so excited to meet her in January!!!”
The first two photos feature Abbie cradling her growing baby bump. In the third picture, John has his arms around Abbie’s belly too. Fans think that John and Abbie look very happy in these pictures. The couple is standing outdoors for the photos. It’s unclear whether the pictures came from a maternity photo shoot or if they were taken by a family member.

Fans react to new bump photos
Because Abbie has yet to share a bump photo since the pregnancy announcement and the gender reveal, fans were very excited to see the new pictures. Several Duggar fans have commented on John and Abbie’s recent posts and requested an update.
In the comments section of the new pictures, fans are leaving lots of sweet comments for the expectant couple. These are some of the comments fans have shared:
- “You look beautiful”.
- “You two are seriously one of the most adorable couples I’ve seen”.
- “Do you have a name picked out? So excited to see what she looks like!”
- “You both look absolutely thrilled”.
Fans seem to be excited about the baby on the way. Several people commented and asked about the baby’s name. So far, John and Abbie have yet to respond to that question. Many parents choose to keep the name a secret until the baby is born.
Abbie Duggar is expecting her first child
Another Duggar grandbaby is on the way! On August 1, John and Abbie shared a post announcing that they have a “baby passenger on board.” Then, in late August, they announced that they are expecting a baby girl. The two tied the knot in November 2018.
It’s a busy time for the Duggar family. Josiah and Lauren, Josh and Anna, and Joe and Kendra are all expanding their families this fall. Cousin Amy King is expecting her first child in October. John and Abbie’s baby will be born a little bit later in January.
