Teddi Mellencamp had a whirlwind few days after announcing she was pregnant with her third child. She said the news came as a complete surprise to her and her husband, but they are thrilled. She proudly strutted down the runway for Kyle Richards new fashion line and felt good about herself in a see-through bodysuit and cover-up according to People.

Teddi hasn’t been shy when it comes to sharing her weight loss journey. This seems like a big milestone for her and to do it at fifteen weeks pregnant is truly admirable. Of course, there are those on the worldwide web who couldn’t help but say negative things about her.

Why Were People Talking About Teddi Mellencamp And Her Runway Walk?

Teddi Mellencamp had posted a picture of all the RHOBH walking down the runway together. She caption it, “congratulations @kylerichards18 you crushed it.”  Fans responded in some unkind ways with one saying, “OMFG your walk though. Why did you strut like that? Next time get lessons from Rinna.” They coupled the comment with lots of laughing emojis.

Another post, this time on Twitter, was a meme of Sandra Bullock walking unattractively and Micheal Caine saying, “I haven’t seen a walk like that since Jurassic Park.” The poster captioned the meme, “the gays watching Teddi Mellencamp walk down the runway.”

Teddi Mellencamp was quick to fire back at the haters. The reality star said, “I can definitely make fun of myself and am in on most jokes but something it just gets to be too much. I am so damn proud of myself for having the courage to step out of my comfort zone, especially at 15-weeks pregnant in a flesh-colored bodysuit, and do my very best.”

Some other Real Housewives had her back giving her encouragement. Tamra Judge responded, “that’s horrible. People suck! Don’t let the mean people in this world bring you down. Big hugs.” Real Housewives of Dallas star said, “you look amazing. Live the life of your dreams and live it to the fullest. At the end of the day we only regret the chances we didn’t take honey. Keep shining.” She has a lot of support and like she said, she was just trying to be there for a friend. Love it or not, it was a brave thing to do.
