Duggar Fans Wonder Why Amy’s Cousins Weren’t At Her Baby Shower
Fans of the Duggars know that this is a busy time for the family. There are always courtships, weddings, babies, and more. Several Duggar women, along with their cousin Amy, are expecting babies soon.
Amy is due to have her baby boy, Dax, in October. Shortly after, Anna, Kendra, and Lauren will have their babies in November. Abbie recently announced her pregnancy and is likely due in late winter or early spring. Anna, Kendra, Lauren, and Abbie are all having baby girls. Joy-Anna was also expecting a baby girl, but the baby was stillborn at 20 weeks gestation.
With so many babies on the way, there are sure to be plenty of upcoming parties and baby showers. Recently, John and Abbie had a gender reveal party and shared that they are having a baby girl. This past weekend, Amy had a baby shower, which she shared about on social media.

Duggar fans wonder why Amy’s cousins weren’t at the baby shower
When Amy shared about the baby shower, fans were quick to notice that her family wasn’t there. In the picture she posted, fans noticed a group of women, including Deanna Duggar, who is Amy’s mom. Surprisingly, none of the other Duggar women were at the baby shower. This seemed odd, especially because Amy seems to be pretty close with a few of her cousins.
In response to this, a fan asked, “Your cousins didn’t go to your baby shower?” Amy then responded, “We had a baby shower with just family too!! I’ve been blessed twice!!” It seemed unlikely that Amy would exclude her cousins anyway. Most fans assumed there had to be a reason that they weren’t at the recent baby shower. Plus, it would have come across the wrong way if Amy expected her family to attend both showers and bring gifts both times.
Late last week, Amy shared a photo of herself with her aunt, Michelle, and most of her female cousins. She wrote a long message about how much she appreciates their support. She wrote, “From sweet Ivy Jane to positive Aunt Michelle and my momma dearest thank you all for your love, support , jokes , hugs, and quality time together! I love each and everyone of you!”

It’s safe to say that Amy is loved and her baby, Dax, is already just as loved. Fans and her family members are so excited for him to arrive in just a little over a month. In the meantime, it looks like Amy will continue to provide updates about her pregnancy and everything that comes along with it.
