Kathryn Dennis' Mom Passes Away at Age of 59

Kathryn Dennis of Southern Charm is dealing with a lot right now. It turns out that her mother has passed away at the age of 59. People shared the news about her big loss today.

It is being reported that Kathryn Dennis’ mom had an extended illness before her death. So far, Kathryn’s reps aren’t speaking out. A source close to Kathryn spoke to People and said, “Their family requests privacy while they mourn with the sad loss. They’re very private people and they want their time to cope.”

She previously battled cancer. Kathryn has spoken out in the past about how her mom is her best friend. The two were very close. At one point she lived with her daughter. Kathryn Dennis shared in the past about her mom. Here is what she had to say.

“She was sick for a year and a half and I was taking care of her. She’s since been living with me, essentially. It’s great to have her around, especially because she’s so good with the kids [Kathryn’s son St. Julien, 3, and daughter Kensie, 5]. She’s amazing. She’s the best mom I could ever hope for with everything.”

How this can affect Kathryn

Kathryn Dennis has been through a lot over the years. She actually spent some time in rehab. Right now, she is dealing with more custody issues over her children. Her ex Thomas Ravenel doesn’t give up easily. Hopefully, the loss of her mom won’t put her in a negative place. She is dealing with a lot right now and has to find a way to continue to fight through. Kathryn has to stay sober during this time.
