Jinger Duggar Vuolo Takes Ill-Timed Selfie At Holocaust Museum And Faces Backlash

Jinger Duggar, Youtube

Jinger Duggar posts a lot of selfies. Selfies are such a normal thing for people to do no matter where they are.

However, a Holocaust museum is not the place. The Museum’s website says photography is allowed but no selfie sticks or flash photography. In other words, they expect you to be respectful and use common sense.

Fans were not happy with Jinger Duggar Vuolo when she posted a selfie with her daughter at one. Since moving to Los Angeles, the star has been documenting all the sights the family visited. According to In Touch Weekly, when her in-laws came to town, she took them to the Museum of the Holocaust.

Jinger Duggar Gets Backlash From People Online For The Ill-Timed Selfie

After seeing the picture, people had a lot of negative things to say. Duggar captioned the photo, “though it is my third visit to a Holocaust Museum, it is nonetheless greatly moving each time.”

One Reddit user said, “I find this photo supremely tasteless.” Another said, “this is disrespectful to the millions of people who were literally tortured to death.” There is a subreddit dedicated to making fun of Jinger Duggar and her family. Some of the other commenters thought it wasn’t a good idea to bring her daughter. They didn’t think she’d be quiet and let the people experience the purpose of the museum.

Are The Duggars Just Socially Unaware Or Was She Just Not Thinking?

One of the commenters said, “I totally understand that the Duggars are seriously socially inept, but this is straight up tasteless.”

It’s hard to tell if Jinger Duggar really wasn’t thinking and tried to share something she felt was important.

The criticism also transpired into more digs against Jinger Duggar. The people called her out for going to the museum at all. The reason is that some people in her family have spoken out against gay people. Jinger Duggar’s husband Jeremy Vuolo stated homosexuality was a “false definition of love.” One commenter said, “I wonder if she knows Nazis killed hundreds of thousands of gay people.”

Needless to say, Jinger should have thought a little bit more before she posted a selfie in a place that deserves respect and quiet reflection.
