‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Week of July 8: Claire Institutionalized; Actress Leaves Show
Days of Our Lives celebrated Independence Day with a bang when Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) tried to kill Ciara (Victoria Koneful) in yet another cabin fire. Ciara was rescued in time, but Claire turned the lighter on herself. She urged Marlena (Diedre Hall) to leave the cabin so that Claire could set it aflame, ending her own life.
Marlena refused to leave, choosing to console her granddaughter instead. This week, Claire will be sent to a mental hospital. It’s been widely reported for months that Olivia Rose Keegan would leave the show sometime in mid-2019. Now we know how her character exits the canvas in a straitjacket.
DOOL’s Kristen Makes a Shocking Discovery
As fans know, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is actually Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in a mask. WIth Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Ted (Gilles Marini) suspicious, she instructed Xander (Paul Telfer) to get rid of the sleuths. Instead, Xander stowed them in the DiMera mansion.
Kristen is shocked to discover the duo alive and well this week. She vows revenge on Xander for double-crossing her. Will Kristen deal with Kate, Ted and Xander before Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and others in Salem figure out what’s going on?
Rex’s Confession to Sarah
Rex (Kyle Lowder) has a confession for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey.) He admits that he gave the diamond necklace to Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin.) Can the newlyweds overcome their feelings for other people? Sarah is fighting her feelings for Eric (Greg Vaughn) while being pursued by Xander. Don’t forget, DOOL fans, Sarah and Xander had a one-night stand back in January.
According to Daytime Confidential, Kyle Lowder’s last day on the soap is August 9, 2019. Nadia Bjorlin is also due to leave the daytime drama sometime this year.

Days of Our Lives Gets Steamy – Gabi and Stefan Caught in the Act (Again)
Chloe’s ex-flame, Stefan (Brandon Barash) has been getting hot and heavy with Gabi (Camila Banus.) Stefan doesn’t know that Gabi is trying to trick him into marriage. Chloe overhears Gabi and Brady (Eric Martsolf) discussing their devious plan. Will she tell Stefan?
Meanwhile, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is aghast to walk in on Gabi and Stefan getting busy in her office. She douses them with water, but that won’t damper Stefan’s growing feelings. In the weekly promo, Stefan tells Gabi that what began as a fling is turning into something more for him. Is she falling for him or just pretending?
