Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth and her husband Austin just recently shared that their daughter was stillborn. Losing their daughter was hard on the couple. As Joy explained, they lost their daughter at twenty weeks. The couple already has a son. This would have been their second child together. The Duggar family has made it very clear that they love having big families. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if Joy and Austin have several more children in the future.

Carlin Bates is by her side

Carlin Bates was by Joy’s side for all of this. It could not have been easy for Joy to get ready for these pictures during such an emotional time. Carlin was there to do her makeup and hair plus give her emotional support.

Carlin also made a post of her own talking about how hard it was to watch her best friend go through this rough time in her life. The Bates and Duggar families have always been close to each other.  There has been speculation over the years that at least one couple would come from these families, but so far it hasn’t happened. Regardless, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth got the sweetest best friend out of the deal.

    1. My heart breaks for Joy Anna and Austin. I cannot imagine the pain and heart break that they must be going through. I love this family so much. They are such a joy to watch. Prayers for all of the family.

  1. It is good that Austin and Joy had pictures taken. My twin brother died on 1/07/1936 as my mother had pre-eclampsia.I was born 12 weeks later, and my mother was ill for 3 years.Lawrence Charles lived for 40 minutes, but was not officially alive because my mother was only 26 weeks pregnant. No photos were taken.Only my father saw him.He was still remembered 40 years later ,when my sister died in 1988.he is buried in my great-grand-parents’ grave in Kersal,Manchester,EnglandTo Joy and Austin,my prayers are with you.

  2. So very very sorry for the unbearable heartbreaking pain you both are going through. I’m so glad y’all took pictures of you holding her. I can just see Grandma Duggar now – holding her, loving her, and telling her stories about the many wonderful and Christian family members and friends that also love her. God be with you both. I can feel and understand this awful pain you both are going through now because I’ve been there. We lost our daughter 33 1/2 yrs ago.
