‘Counting On’: TLC Will Air Ivy Seewald Birth Special
If you’re a fan of the Duggar family, you know that much of their lives is shared publicly. They choose to share their lives via social media and on the TLC show Counting On. In the past, many big life events have been shared on the show. This includes things like weddings and births.
Since Jessa Duggar Seewald gave birth to her third child with Ben Seewald, fans have been asking if there will be a birth special. In the past, some of the Duggar births have been shown on Counting On so this is a valid question.
In addition to wondering about a special birth episode, fans have been asking whether Jessa had any complications during Ivy’s delivery. We know that Ivy was born earlier than expected, but she appears to be healthy. The family has not shared many details about the recent birth.

Recently, fans noticed that a new episode of Counting On is now listed on TV Guide. The episode is titled “A Baby Girl for Jessa”. The description reads, “When Jessa goes into labor while her family is out of town, she and Ben have to make major changes to their birth plan and things get tense when paramedics are called.”
Based on the description, it seems like this will be an intense episode. It’s unclear what exactly happens though.
Announcements about the birth special
TLC’s Counting On is not currently airing new episodes right now. Because of this, the birth special comes as a bit of a surprise. It has yet to be announced by any members of the Duggar family and it is not shown on TLC’s social media pages. Somehow, fans were able to track down the information on TV Guide.
The lack of an announcement may be due to a recent death in the Duggar family. Grandma Mary Duggar suddenly passed away about a week ago. Since her death, the family has been pretty quiet on social media, with the exception of posts honoring their grandmother.
When will the Counting On birth special air?
According to TV Guide, the birth special will air on Tuesday, June 25 at 11:02PM ET. It will be shown again at 3:02AM ET on Wednesday, June 26. It will air on TLC, like Counting On typically does. Based on the listing, it looks like this will be the 12th episode for Season 9.
