‘Teen Mom 2’: MTV Cuts Jenelle Evans From Show
Recently, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, have been in the spotlight. After David shot and killed the family’s dog, both he and Jenelle have been getting a lot of backlash. Jenelle explained what happened and said, “David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”
As a result, MTV has cut Jenelle from the show. They will not be filming any more episodes including her going forward. An MTV spokesperson talked with Us Weekly and said, “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
In the past, Jenelle has defended her husband for some of his poor actions, including domestic violence. She seems extremely heartbroken about what has just happened to her dog, Nugget. She shared an Instagram post saying how much the dog meant to her.

What are Teen Mom stars saying about this?
Now that the news has broken about David killing the dog, Teen Mom stars are voicing their opinions. Amber Portwood shared a tweet about the whole thing and said, “Omg I can’t even read anymore details about this horrible incident that happened to Janelles poor dog! ugh. heartbroken seriously…I hope she makes the right decision.”

Kailyn Lowry also spoke out and said, “I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget. To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings.”
Overall, it seems like both Teen Mom stars and fans alike are siding with Jenelle. Many fans are calling for a divorce and hope that David doesn’t get away with this.
What’s next for David and Jenelle?
In addition to MTV dropping Jenelle from the show, a few of the show’s sponsors have decided to back out. They include TWIX, Chipotle, and Dove Chocolate. In addition, Greenies, which is a dog treat company, is no longer working with the series.
At this time, it seems like Jenelle is considering getting a divorce from David. An official statement about this has yet to be released. In the past, both fans and Teen Mom stars have encouraged her to get a divorce. This may be the final straw, but we’ll have to see what happens next.
