‘Teen Mom 2′: Animal Control Visits Jenelle Evans’ Home
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is currently mourning the loss of her French Bulldog, Nugget. Nugget was shot and killed by Jenelle’s husband, David Eason. This all began when the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Ensley Eason, was sitting on the couch next to the family’s dog.
It appears that Ensley tried to kiss the dog. Then, the dog nipped at her, causing the toddler to cry. Meanwhile, David was filming the video from across the room and didn’t step in to help until the dog had already nipped at his daughter. David later shared the video in his defense to show that the dog truly did nip at Ensley.

A source close to the family said that after the dog snapped at Ensley, David proceeded to slam the dog against the deck in the backyard. Then, he took him out to the woods and shot and killed him.
On social media, Jenelle shared a photo of herself with the dog. She wrote a caption that said, “Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

A source said, “David shot the dog after it came after Ensley. Jenelle has all the kids with her and is not talking to David right now. She’s very upset and is taking time to figure out what she wants to do.”
Animal Control shows up at the Teen Mom 2 stars’ home
After fans found out what happened, they decided to flood the North Carolina animal welfare with calls reporting David’s actions. Animal Control eventually came out to the couple’s home, but they were nervous about what could happen to them there due to David’s history. In the past, he has threatened to shoot trespassers.
The sheriff’s department will be handling the rest of the situation because of the safety concern. The main goal is to figure out whether the dog is alive or not. The authorities also want to know whether the couple still has the dog’s corpse. Based on how Jenelle has reacted to the whole thing on social media, it’s obvious that the dog has already died.
It’s clear that the police or Animal Control wants to learn more about what happened. They definitely have some questions to ask David and Jenelle. It’s likely that Jenelle will have to file a report because social media posts about the situation are insufficient. Hopefully, Jenelle will take action. This isn’t the first time that David has been aggressive toward her and their family.
What are fans saying about this?
Many Teen Mom 2 fans are speaking up and calling David out for his actions. They are saying that he shouldn’t allow Ensley to be so close to the dog without a parent right beside them. Some are saying that the parents should have taught Ensley how to respect the dog’s space as well.
In response to how David handled the whole thing, fans are saying that his reaction was poor. They think that the proper actions would have been to use this as a learning experience for Ensley so that she would understand how to respect animals. Though fans are concerned about the toddler, they understand that this was just a nip and it didn’t look like she was bleeding at all. It looked like a small scratch.
Some fans suggested that the family surrender their dog to a shelter or rehome it with an owner who doesn’t have any children. Of course, now it’s too late for the proper actions to be taken.
Now, it’s likely that Jenelle and David will be getting a divorce. Do you think that it’s time for a divorce? What do you think of David Eason’s actions? Let us know what you think!
