In February, Counting On’s Josiah and Lauren Duggar shared that they had suffered a miscarriage. They first posted about the miscarriage a few months after it happened. Now, Lauren Duggar is posting on social media to thank her fans for the support they have given her.
In the post, she says,
“I just want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, support, and for all you Mama’s out there for sharing your angel baby stories. It’s easy to share those happy times in our lives, but sharing something hard, like losing a baby can be like putting salt to a wound. I know by y’all sharing your stories it has not only helped me, but many other women who have gone through the same trials. ‘He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.’ Psalm 147:3”
Though this is a tough time for Josiah and Lauren Duggar, they are relying on the support of their friends, family, and fans. They have also been trusting God during this time. It seems like the couple is giving themselves the time that they need to grieve. They don’t seem to be rushing into having another baby. They are waiting for just the right time and taking it easy until then.
