Jamie Otis, Doug Hehner Reveal Miscarriage, Fighting to Stay Positive
Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner have been through a lot recently. They lost a son before having their daughter. Then Jamie had a miscarriage. Jamie recently announced that she was pregnant again and the couple was really excited. It turns out that she has now suffered a miscarriage. This is hard on the couple, but they are trying to stay positive during this time.
Jamie Otis reveals the miscarriage
Jamie made the decision to take medicine so that she could miscarriage all the way naturally. She didn’t want to have to go through a D&C. Jamie shared saying, “I think the worst of it is finally over … Around 7pm I began getting the most sharp, excruciating pains all throughout my belly and my back.” Their little girl did sleep through the night, which helped make it all go easier.

Jamie shared saying, “We’re trying our best to stay positive. We’ve made it through this before – RIP our sweet angel baby, Johnathan – and we will make it through this too. I guess our little Johnny wanted a little brother or sister to play with up in heaven.”

This is the third child that Jamie Otis and Dough Hehner have lost. This couple met on Married at First Sight and their relationship was tough at first. Jamie wasn’t quite sure that Doug was the one for her, but she was able to change her mind. Eventually, she fell in love with him.
Before this, Jamie Otis was on The Bachelor. She didn’t find love there either, but it lead her to be on Married at First Sight. It all worked out for her in the long run.
